Pleasant country pub/restaurant on the country lanes of Lapworth. Decadent with plenty of food choices, to include Vegan and GFO. There is plenty of parking with disabled access. It's relatively priced. There is a local train station (check online), though advise you drive or walk if you live in the area.

Amazing lunch.Just been into the punchbowl for a last minute lunch and honestly had such a great experience .The food was great and really good quality. But the bit that made it really special was our waitress Imogen who looked after us amazingly and was great with my 90 year old mother with great humour and kindness.Real asset to the Punchbowl .Thank you

You could see this place could be "Potentially" very good, unfortunately as it is, its no better than a travel lodge & desperately in need of a refurbish, Iron marks burnt into the carpet, mould all round the shower cubicle and a hot water …

The venue was booked for private dining to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. It was a fabulous day, the food was amazing and Lian, Amy and the team looked after us so well. Our guests from further afield praised the rooms and were very comfortable. Will definitely use the facility again.
Rooms: Spacious and comfortable

A group of 6 of us recently booked for Sunday lunch, We had booked a later table of 2.45pm. When we arrived there was no where to park unfortunately. Once we had entered the pub we were seated, the food was good that we all had. However as soon as we’d had dessert we were presented the bill and told we had to move as our table was booked out again- we had planned this lunch to catch up with friends that were over from
America. We were told we could sit in the bar area- which they didn’t take us to a table and when we went to the bar area to find a table there was no tables free. I appreciate businesses need to make money but it just seems to me that they are more bothered in the high turnover, it’s not even like we hadn’t spent a lot.

It’s the first time I have been for lunch since it was sold . Staff very friendly and for a Thursday busy as 2 of our table we’re driving we all had a glass of house Champagne for me personally could have been a little colder but nevertheless lovely and what you would expect to pay .
My self 2 starters the Chicken Liver Parfait and Mussels which for lunch a great size . My friends had main course , half a baby chicken with Frits and salad beautifully presented . My other friend had lambs liver which she thought a bit stringy ! However a lovely lunch great service so needless to
Say I will be back . Only comment I would make as the lighting ambient maybe the Menu could be bolder not grey scale as a lot of local people who have used the Punch Bowl would not be able to read it . So maybe a larger Font and bold !! One of my friends and I have both recently had eye operations so not to bad for us so just a suggestion maybe larger font and bold . But for my self 5* lovely lunch good service so shall enjoy coming back .
Food & drinks: Great service and well priced and a lovely area with plenty of parking.

Absolutely amazing food! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Went for Sunday lunch and this was honestly the best I've ever had. £21 for the beef roast, and it is absolutely worth every penny. If you live in the area or happen to be passing through, take the time to eat at the punch bowl as it it incredible!

We were recommended The Punchbowl by a friend who occasionally eats here and what a great recommendation that turned out to be. We stayed for three nights and everything about the place met or exceeded our expectations. Great location with …

One of our favourite country pub-restaurants. It is a regular watering hole for us, when we venture out on the bicycles. Excellent food and great choices for all tastes. Lovely décor and a great location.
Only area of improvement is that they need to serve better coffee. Very limited choice of coffees. Otherwise its an excellent place in the countryside.
